I need BG's help with ideas for an advertising campaign!

Hey BG, my task is to create a series of adverts on cigarettes, advertising on the cigarettes themselves.

Heres one simple idea, just to show you what i mean.

So far i've thought of one other idea where i have a life bar on the cigarette, starting at green then half smoked is yellow then fully smoked is red.

Any ideas and inspiration would be useful as i have to create 10 and so far i have 2...

I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for since you liked the idea of hated people smoking cigarettes unless you mean to put something relating to them on the cig itself (like "see you soon" on satan's cig or something)..

If you want straight ads on the cigs you might want to try calling attention to the side effects. Someone smoking a cigarette that says "yellow fingers" or "yellow teeth" would be pretty hard to ignore. Maybe some "black lung" or "dain bramage".

Im not worried about pissing people off, telling them they;re going to die pretty much does it anyways, depite not rly having anything against smoking.

The issue is i have a very small surface area. I cant have to bigger image as when i wrap it around the cig it will become bent and to much effort for them to look.

Still, really helpful ideas, never even thought about yellow fingers or teeth.

Come up with things that are 11 minutes that they are losing with each cigarette.

Ex- 11 Minutes closer to the eternal darkness OR watching the sunrise etc...

Im not worried about pissing people off

Even if you don't have to be careful about pissing smokers off, you should still take into consideration pissing other people off as well.

First example would be posting a picture of hitler holding a cig then writing "see you soon" on it or something. Could be taken to the extreme as some kind of jew-hate but that's anything hitler oriented I suppose.
