Map program/plugin

Hey folks, I just finished configuring my SpellCast and all other kinds of plugins to replace my FFAssist, but the only thing I can't find is a map program/plugin. You know, a minimap showing where I am, the main reason I used FFAssist anyway.

It's sad Mapmon is no longer supported ; ; Anyway, can someone help me out?

it can be resized to anything just about. It also has other nice tricks like i said befor after maint its a god send to see if your NM has been killed ~_~;
edit: wait you do not want an outside program? if thats it idk of any plugings that work like that.

Well, it's decent, but is there any way to save the settings? More particularly, the zoom setting resets itself upon zoning, and that's annoying like hell. Is there even a readme or something for ApRadar?

Once you set the zoom on a specific map. It stays permamently. There is no way currently iirc to just set it once and it take effect for all. I might be wrong though.

Yeah it's saved per map. Not sure I'm gonna keep using this though, "stay on top" is annoying. Gdi stupid ffassist

never used ffassist to much set up and crap. 3rd pt apps+ windower have always worked great for me.
radar being one of the best. if you care for the password(that you could look up anyways lol) i can PM you.

Well yeah, it stays on top also when I browse the web etc lol. I disabled all else for FFAssist, but I still use the map. Windower really needs a map plugin...

I'm using Apradar right now, setting to not "Always on top". Working fine with Firefox, or anything for that matter on top of it.

I think what he is saying in FFAssist you can set it to only stay on top of FFXI so it does not cover other applications. ApRadar is only ontop of everything or not on top.

If you click apradar then tab out it shouldn't be on top iirc. Though, that could get to be a nuisance, doesn't both me too much.

Yeah well, even though FFassist occasionally tells me to go fuck myself, I use it because the map thing is just the best there is. I handle everything else in Windower now.

ApRadar is amazing. Little reason to make a plugin version, unless Apnea was really interested.

Has anyone written or know a link to a guide for Apradar? Seems pretty confusing to use...

I use dual displays so APRadar's stay on top is fine for me. FFXI on the left monitor, web browsing on the right.

open the config.ini file and find/replace:

find =1 (i think that's the default?), and replace with =1.5 (or whatever you want to set the zoom to). should take about 2 seconds to change them all.
