Now I know I'm not the only one that watches this. Speak up guys

It's True blood lite. Not as gory or graphic obviously but nowhere near as annoying as the glittering vampires of twilight. Its more then watchable and a nice placeholder til true blood comes back on next year.

2 vampire brothers that have lived in this town since the 1800s came and gone, now comes back because of a girl that looks like the love of both their lives back in the day. One brother, Stefan, is "good" eats only small animals. The other brother, Damon, is bad, lives to torment Stefan forever. They have vampire powers depending on how much they feed on humans so Damon is stronger, can disappear, manipulate fog, turn into a crow, go into people's dreams. Both can influence people's minds giving suggestions, erase memories, but Damon's is stronger. They follow the same vampire rules as Buffy the vampire slayer where they have to be invited into the house to enter.

Basic love triangle in highschool adding vampire stuff, there's a group of town people that know about the vampires from the past that'll probably fight them.

It's watchable if you can get past the highschool love drama. They poke fun of Twilight lol

It is something to download while the best shows are offline (True Blood, Entourage, Weeds, Lost).

It's better than Smallville at any rate. Although, I don't know how they're going to keep the momentum of the storyline going. Seems like a lot has happened so far and having Damon escape and probably want some kind of revenge, makes me think that anything that happens after won't be as good.

I personally hate vampire tv shows, but this one was really watchable 1st season, 2nd season started to get a bit meh with the introduction of

but still enjoyable to watch.

Gonna watch tonight's episode sometime tomorrow probably

In all seriousness though I really like this show. Does it have its moments of teen drama? Sure but really its no different than most shows that end with a conversation/drama/some type of resolution.

I watched a couple episodes from the first season and was turned off be the diary readings at the start & ending of the show. If they dropped the diaries, this would be one fine show.

Cause the high school girl looks exactly like the vampire that turned them.

High school is rarely the backdrop for the series and it really isn't twilight the series.
