Post your FFXI Videos!

Since we can embed YouTube videos here at BG now, I figured it would be nice to have a consolidated thread where we users could post FFXI-related videos that we've made.

I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a thread for this yet (I looked back a few pages and didn't see anything). If there has been, mods can feel free to delete this as it would be unnecessary!

Let's keep it FFXI-related; videos that you or your friends have made of your various in-game exploits. Can be anything from fan-movies to linkshell events, as long as it's FFXI-related.

I'll start off with one of mine, recent, from last night:

i tried using Gamecam but the free version sucks ass and i never found a good cracked version or a serial...

I use a cracked version of Fraps, it works fine for me. My vid's would be in better quality if I hadn't lost a driver for my Nvidia card, so the frame rate is low in some of them...but still acceptable.

At a second glance from previewing, it seems BG automatically makes the videos wide screen.

I normally use Adobe Premiere for making the videos wide screen, though I haven't implemented all of mine.

Despot mishap, I was AFK and something happened... so when I returned I held it as THF/NIN for 10 min until my LS recovered.

I bought Fraps (it's only like $15 I think?) and then use Windows Movie Maker to put everything together.

That Despot video is really neat, I never thought about using the pillars that way. . when I soloed it before I just kited it east of the Ru'Avitau main entrance, all around the upper level. It worked well, but I could only cast at like two specific spots due to magic aggro, so it probably took longer than necessary - sometimes Bio would wear and it would take me a minute or two to get it back up.

Yeah, I used Windows Movie Maker for the bulk of mine as well.

I can't say I'd recommend using the pillar to solo it, but it's hands down the best spot to hold Despot indefinitely. I discovered it on a fluke!

I was on the way to the lake when I carved the corner of the pillar sharply, Despot took the long way around, and I was all like, "shit guys I got this, come watch lol."

Ok so I had to post these. They are from a LS mate on Ifrit from years ago, Noodlebrain. Nostalgic I guess... but I always loved them.

This one was pretty much a dedication to a LS leader that retired and missed
