Opeth, Dream Theater, Lacuna Coil and Marilyn Manson are the only bands I listen to but I'll probably watch Korn, Faith No More, Dragonforce, Killswitch Engage and maybe Dir En Grey for the lulz.

There are actually 4 stages now and I don't know any of the bands playing on either the 3rd or 4th stages on any of the days tbh, although I'm sure some of them are very good and just not popular yet.

I can strongly suggest you go see Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch...Volbeat are pretty famous in Germany and they have amazing live shows because of the charismatic singer.

Five Finger Death Punch have one album out and they're somewhat known in the states...currently on tour with Korn.

HAHAHA at pendulum playing at download. This should be there next album cover just to warn everyone they're epic sellouts. One catch 22 with download is its right in the middle of British exams. This means theres hardly any 16-18 yr olds there. Catch 22 depending on how you see it.

Yeah it's gonna rain most the time but it'll be ok and yeah when I went 2004 and 2005 I was lucky to have no exams on the days I was at Download but did have an exam the day after I got back in 05.

You could probably just download anything they'd be playing there and listen to it in the comfort of your own home. Given the name of the festival, it seems they expect just as much, anyway.
