    Foxfire Question

Looked everywhere, couldn't find it. Anyone mind linking me to thread about hacking foxfire to make it faster by doing something with the config?

I think he means where you can go into about:config and change some numbers in there to get pages to load faster or something

I remmeber back in the day, there was a foxfire.config or something where you go into the hardfiles and change stuff. Was almost a year ago I think. Maybe they have it in this update. I'll try it. Thanx

Edit: yea what Chuyu said. Was posted here a while ago, would like to find it, but was having no luck.

Stop calling it Foxfire. And yes, that post was made by Wafik if I remember correctly. I'll try to find it.

Fasterfox basically does all that, plus clears out caches frequently. And it uses a GUI which is easier to navigate, and you can easily reverse the effects of the plugin should you need to.

Just remember that shit severely taxes webservers... not that you'd have a reason to care, but still.

Fasterfox doesn't appear to work on FF 3.5 though.

Firefox 3.0 and up have those tweaks on by default.

One of the presets changes it to client-side performance boosts only to prevent this.
