I know there's a lot of RMT spam tells going around now but I never seen a japanese one. Got a tell with a bunch of squigglies and some fake ass url in the midst of it all.

[GM]StephenFry >> Salutations my dear fellow! One has ascertained that your appears to have been partaking in a spot of wheeling and dealing. Should one wish to appeal against the decision taken by Her Majesty, one should orient their "web browser" to www.rmt-r-us.com, wot wot. Toodle pip!
Yeah a bunch of people got that debarkation tell last night from the same guy. He was set as away, so you couldn't reply back to him.
I got the same exact tell from chucky and acorri this morning except they were both in english '~')
ah, the joy of playing on a closed server:
No rmt tells for months.
Great, now maybe SE will take action against them.
on bismarck, got the exact same /tell from the same char. about 30 mins later, got one again from same guy, only in english
That Japanese is horrible.. lol

This is the first RMT spam I have seen in Japanese, and not surprised it's phishing and not advertising.
I have had a lot of japanese friends ask me what these tells are (The advertisements in english sent to them) and to date I have never heard of/seen a RMT tell in Japanese advertising websites that sell gil.
There may be more gil bought in the states but I am sure there is no shortage of fools in any language.
That's more googlenese than japanese too lol
