Back in April when I received my security token I screwed up and set my SE account to EU instead of NA. Because my FFXI was NA, the two wouldn't sync and I couldn't use my token (read: satchel). Well, today SE sent me an email that the problem was fixed.
I didn't remember my SE account's password, so I went to the website and had them resend it to me. When I got it I realized that the server the email came from was EU. So while my token is reactivated, my old account is useless. I made a new NA SE account and now my token works fine. I figured I'd post this in case anyone else was in a similar situation as me and I could help them avoid potential annoyance lolDear PlayOnline Customer,

tl;dr Don't use your old busted SE account with a reactivated security token. Make a new SE account and attach your old token to that.
