Games for couples

I would like to find some games to play that my girlfriend can play as well. She loved playing Classic Sonic 3 (as Tails) and Super Mario Galaxy until it got to some of the harder levels so any suggestions geared tword that would be helpful. She doesnt mind watching, but i'd rather have her involved. I have a 360 and a Wii so I'm open to pretty much anything.

Well assuming she and you are normal, everyone loves music. Rock band/Guitar Hero WT are both great games that everyone can get involved with. You can change the difficulty as you get better as well. Easy would probably be a good way for her to pick it up.

Mario Kart for Wii is another winner, Mario Party is good when you have 2+ people. Castle Crashers on XBL Marketplace is a lot of fun, and easy. If a fighting game, something easy anyone can get into, like Soul Calibur. Anyone can button mash that game and have a good time doing it.

Most Wii games are great for couples. Just start with the easier stuff, then as she progresses, you can do the harder stuff.

Mario Party to me will always be the best game for anyone of any age really. Most other games tend to have a difficult factor or only appeal to certain people. Mario Kart also can be but will have a higher learning curve than something as simple as Mario Party.

Wii Resort or Wii Play prolly although I haven't played them myself yet.

Seriously though, almost any game for the wii. Several of my friends got their significant others playing Smash (melee and brawl) and took it to the competitive scene, doing pretty well.

If you're into RPGs, try something like Eternal Sonata for 360, or Secret of Mana (through Wii virtual console)

FPS games with Co-Op story modes are also an option, Halo ect.

Any of the generic family games for the Wii would work. I'd look into the 360 marcketplace for some classic arcade games too.

If I am understanding this right, any really simple game with multiplayer will work? Or is their something about cheap games that turn girls on? Because simple games with multiplayer is available on anything, not just Wii and such.

my boyfriend and i had alot of fun playing the ff crystal chronicles games on the ds together. if you dont mind a small investment for the systems, the ds actually offers alot of different multiplayer games that someone less 'hardcore' could get into.

How is she on scary stuff? My girlfriend loves watching me play stuff like Silent Hill and Dead Space because theyre too scary for her to play on her own lol. Don't have too many suggestions about playing together though..maybe something like geometry wars for wii

Agreed. Play these. Go for Co-op games and not things like fighting games. I tried playing KOF with my bf & his inner male came out and killed me in a few seconds and I thought he was gonna do a touch down dance afterward.

Castle Crashers is def. a good one. Also get L4D on Xbox, say what you want but the Co-op for non-gamers is awesome and sucks them in.

Controls are easy and she wont feel overwhelmed. Blasting zombies and walking up on Witches will have her randomly yelling "FUCK YEAH!!" and "OH SHIT!!" in no time flat.
