FFXI Installation Halp. (No joke.)

I'm installing FFXI Vana'diel Collection 2007 onto my new laptop. I knew enough to download the Vista version of POL from POL's site, but I'm having trouble finding out how to install the actual game itself. I was planning on just using this version of the game, and then buying WotG, and installing it through the Digital Downloading method that SE now offers. Anyway, whenever I put in the game disc, my only option is to install POL, which I already did. I don't know how I'm supposed to download the actual game itself. Help?

Yes, I'll admit I'm no good with computers. But to be fair, this is the first time I've used Vista. Help is appreciated! Many thanks!
