It was interesting and the show shows promise. But I imagine most of the episodes will be fairly different in this was all backstory and very little fucking of women. I expect to get more backstory, but I'm betting on the episode being more focused on the women that's paying him.

I found the pilot to be "meh" at best, not to mention it was so mellow [for HBO] that it could be shown on Fox or NBC's evening lineup. Show has promise cause of the material... ill give it a few more episodes

make a show about male prostitution and make it funny, throw in some character development so that its not the same show over and over and be done with it.

?????????????? I'd argue the majority of this episode is dedicated to everything but just him prostituting himself.

First, it shows how bad the economy is for everyoneKenny Bania drives a rental car + has upped his 'class' tuition and nobody has the money to take it anymore. Also, anybody else LOL when he said "THE BEST" just like in seinfeld? Also, his ex-wifes husband is having problems w/ money so they are eating at a buffet and can't afford to put their dog on life support. Also, his entire reason for initially pursuing Gemma was to get his kids a car to one up the wife lol.

This is the first show conceived of entirely after The Sopranos went off the air and the new executives came in, hence they are heavily invested in its success so I doubt its going anywhere.

The only thing I don't like is the main chick in the show, the "pimp". She is so gross to look at.....just.... UGHHHH.
