Pre Order Bonuses (Ancient Rings)

I'm interested in pre-ordering to receive one of the 5 ancient rings. If anybody doesn't know you get a different Ancient Ring depending on the retailer you pre-order from.

I have a question for those that have played the beta:

Are there items in Aion similiar to FFXI's Rare/Ex status, items that can't be traded?

I want to obtain all the rings, but don't want to pre-order 5 copies of the game. If there are items that are exclusive, then one could only assume that these ancient rings would be exclusive too.

Knowing the answer to this question should help me decide where I pre-order from.

Pre-ordering from NCsoft will get you the wind ring but no physical copy of the game, only digital.

Like Priran has said, I'd assume they wouldn't be tradeable since the black cloud hat isn't able either.

No stats to the rings.. so I assume they are NA only.

ive seen a of a character with ring of earth on and it gives u a little glowing circle animation around u other then that iam not sure

had originaly thout they boosted damage of the element type but but after playing beta there is no wind type element to spells or anything eles ive seen so thats un likly

no, occasionally monsters will drop items that, when you loot, give you an "are you sure you want to take this because you can't trade or sell it to anyone else" popup.

They give you a purely cosmetic ring-shaped effect around your feet.

A lot of quest mobs in the starter earea that have channels that drop blue gear is all BOP, so RMT can't farm it and constantly resell it on the AH. I would farm them for enchant stones though.

Not when I can make a Lv10 staff last till 20 or a Lv20 staff last till 30.

75-100 damage+ weapon...

You do the math...

Yes it IS worth it for any MELEE class as I don't think mages get as big of a bang for their buck.

Also farming these things isn't like FFXI of the "stand here for 2 hours until it pops" idea its check to see if its up if not keep leveling... trust me the little you go out of the way to make your weapon +10 is hella worth it, just ask veyron how his +10 mace I gave him worked out :D

It's amazing, I would always advise to +10 a weapon for a melee class if your funds support it!
