    Playing WMV/RMVB on a Mac?

Heya guys, was curious if theres a plug in for quicktime that allows you to play wmv/rmvb files. Id prefer to be able to play all files on one player, dont mind either way if i get a plug in for MOV files on a different player.

    Any help would be appreciated

For WMVs you can use flip4mac: Telestream Flip4Mac WMV - Overview

Unfortunately I think for RMVB you're stuck with RealPlayer...

Anyway, why quicktime? Both OSX MPlayer Extended and VLC are better IMO...

Perian plays most everything in Quicktime. I dunno if it does WMV but Flip4Mac definitely does and I see no reason in why you couldn't install both.

Just installed the flip4mac, but whenever i double click a wmv file it says quicktime player need to be installed, even thought quicktime x is already installed.

However, when i right click and open with > quicktime it imports it to quick time and then players. Thats fine, but if i want to play the same movie, when i close it i have to import it again.
