Visible gear swap freezing

So when your going to use a weapon skill you swap to all of your str gear etc but usually a brd song, haste spell, etc freezes you and the gear swap animation doesn't finish. My question is do you get the bonus of say Hecatomb Cap (during weapon skill) even though the animation for switching it wasn't complete due to brd song freezing your visible gear swap animation?

Yes, you do get the stats of the gear you just equipped, the only thing you notice is a graphical delay on client side, but for the server you got the new gear equipped.

I Think that what he means is that blink me not takes advantage of avoiding the blink, showing to the OP that Client-side gearswaps doesn't matter when calculating the stats.

Using blinkmenot on melee is retarded. Macro fail at time, and you might end up not noticing your n.cap or something when you tp.

You can adjust blinkmenot settings to show yourself blinking at certain times!

I guess blinkmenot's real point is mages > tanks. Other than that, is not a need. Even if you get freezed during animations, as someone stated meleeing with N.Head is not cool

I used blinkmenot when meriting on thief yesterday and, I hate to say it was improving my dps. I don't normally want to use it. I like seeing my gearswaps and also like being a minimalist, but damn..

..with lag, the person you're trying to TA or TA+ws can change gear and not appear for a long time. 5 seconds+. Easily noticeable as your lag increases >,<. Nothing more frustrating than popping TA behind someone, they blink, you wonder if they're ws'ing or something, but when they appear, they're on an entirely different side of the mob. Likewise if I'm readying SA and I can't see my allies, I don't know where to predict the mob turning ahead of time >,<
