What to do in Brandon, England?

Currently in Brandon, errr Suffolk England. Gonna be here until Saturday and got nothing to do since I'm here on a free business trip while my wife works. London seems obvious but I was thinking taking a random trip to Salisbury or Stonehenge or something. Any suggestions?

I had to Google Map the place... you're no where near Salisbury or Stonehenge which will take you at least 4-5 hours to get there (if tunneling via London).

Can visit Cambridge... ? That's where most of the (apparently) clever people go...

Take the train to London. It's a great city. Definitely go if you've never been before.

From what I've heard of Suffolk (I used to live in England) is that it's pretty dull.

1. Weather. Overcast and chilly, it's always like that, but they will bitch about it anyway.
2. Football. The Tractorboys (Ipswich F.C.) are doing terrible this year, 0-5-5 and sitting at the bottom of the Championship table. Say something to the effect that Roy Keane needs to just go back to Ireland and you're sure to make a few friends.

sadly i live quite near there, its one of the most horrible places known to man. There are only two types of people that live there. Dirty local chavs and equally stupid american airmen. As others have said get a train to london book a hotel and stay there until you need to leave.
