G15/G13 persistant profile/Application switch
So I mentioned this in another thread, and posted it in Logitechs support forum like... 6-8months ago, without ever getting a reply.
I use a PTT key in ventrilo, whether I make it a single keypress (Insert), or multiple, and I manually press that key the PTT stays working regardless of applications switching. For example, when I am on Firefox and holding Insert, and then click on Aim, PTT stays working with no problems.
However, I bind my PTT to a gkey for comfort (both g15 and g13) and when the application switches, the PTT turns off. So If Im in firefox, holding down the PTT gkey, and click on AIM, my mic will cut out.
I saw a suggestion somewhere saying enable persistant profile on the key profiler program, that did nothing. Nothing I can think of is working, it's immensely frustrating especially when I'm playing wow and have the PTT key pressed, then click on firefox to look something up while still talking. It just cuts out and there I am talking to myself for the rest of the conversation.
Occasionally, this doesn't even happen at all. Sometimes it will do it, sometimes it wont. No clue what is causing it.
Using Vista x64 with x64 Vent and an updated Gseries Key profiler. Any help is appreciated, this is my last attempt before making my PTT on my mouse, which i think would disable me being able to click anywhere with it pressed -.-

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?
is your default setting (on the g13/15) set to the PTT key as well? If not try that, if you switch to firefox, the keys are going back to the default setting. Match the PTT key on the default as well and there should be no problem.
