doesn't look so bad to me, no reviews is kinda meh, i would make sure to check out google for some reviews from actual owners.

never owned consumer electronics by Hitachi so can't offer any actual opinion

specs don't list the contrast ratio.
thing that always annoys me about newegg is they omit weaker specs sometimes, especially on discount items. but the price isn't too bad.

I'd personally pick up a TC-P42G10 before I'd buy that TV. Same price, larger & better picture, but sony's aren't bad.

I know it's a bit late, but a big no on the Hitachi.

Can't vouch for a Hitachi, But I've had a 40" Sony Bravia for a bit over a year now and it is just the bee's knees.

Hitachi used to make great consumer electronics. I loved their CRT televisions. I am not sure about their lcd panels though. They seem to look good picture wise from what I have seen.

you guys dig the regza line? i have one from nov2007 and its already got burn in from standard def TV

thinking about getting another one in a few months good buy or best buy?

only reason im thinking of sticking with toshiba is because my wife is getting us there new bluray player to match brands mainly for continuity but also for the regza link.

thoughts? opinions?

I went with a Samsung 46" 120hz LCD. Picked it up at my local best buy for 791.89 with taxes. Was on sale. Had 3 left and trying to get rid of stock for new stuff...
