With WKC coming out, I figure it'd be best if I get a headset for online play.
Anyone have recommendations on what model/brand? My budget is up to $100 and I'd prefer stereo ones.

I currently use the Jawbone 2 which is really nice <3
Just get the official Sony one. Works fine and as a bonus it has on-screen notifications with the PS3.

I've always used these (They made them previously for the PS2).

Extremely lightweight, affordable. I also like the fact that it doesn't require both ears so I can blast the TV just fine. Last but not least, it works 100% plug-and-play for PC.

edit: Added pic.
I really like the official sony one because it comes with a nice stand and when it's in the stand it works as a desktop mic where the voices come though the TV. It allows me to wear my surround sound headset and still chat.
Yeah I forgot about that feature too. Also, the on-screen indicator shows battery life etc, and charges through PS3 USB slot.
Only thing that bugs me about it is the constant beeping it makes when you mute the mic for the certain situations when you don't want people online to hear you having a conversation with other people in the room, other than that, works great.
Cosigning the offical headset, only $50 and sometimes you can catch it on sale for 40ish at BB and Amazon.

^ what iv been using. I posted here asking for advice ended up getting these. Love them soo much. without cranking them up you can hear the smallest sounds easy. Ear paddings not bad i can wear for 2-3 hours at a time before my ears get irritated. Evidently theres a new version. I dont know about the PX2. I own the one in the link
For the Turtle Beach headsets do you need to plug in the rca jacks if you're using an HDMI input?
Yea. True. I have mine setup through a surround sound using my rca cables. Never botherd with audio from hdmi.
But the way the plugs are setup they You can have your headset plugged into the cables. And the Connection can still connect to another audio sorce.
