EU account - Using in USA

Using a EU account in USA.

Hey, sorry if this has been explained before in another topic, but I had a few questions hopefully someone could answer about using my buddies EU account.

He stated I may need to download EU pol in order for it to work. I was curious if this is the case or not.

Also, will my US based Visa work for the verified card crap that's now necessary to pay for the content ID?

You can log onto any account from any POL

In order to change the information such as CC, etc -- You would need EU POL.
As for the US credit card on a EU account, I have no idea.

Verifiedbyvisa isn't necessary for an EU account and your American credit card is fine.

You do need to download EU pol and install it to change anything in service and support (address, payment info, content IDs etc) but you can still log in and play the game from NA pol.

As people said - can access the game just fine on whatever you've got installed on your PC. Need to go in via EU POL Viewer to make any account related changes... don't believe EU goes through verified by visa from my recollection (but I've managed to use an EU card on an NA account before and pass the verified bit - my card's supported).

I've got three characters, one of which is an NA account that I play just fine from Europe (just nick fiance's NA POL install if I need to change billing or anything) so it should work fine in reverse too.

You can log onto any account from any POL.
You can't change a JP/NA accounts info(including making content IDs) on an EU POL.
You can give your EU CC to an JP/NA to put into their NA POL for your account.

The servers are kept separate (probably because of the activation dates) so they don't interact.
