But I fucking love Jon Stewart
didn't that show get cancelled the very next day on top of that owning?
jon stewart > steve colbert
I'm at work so I can't see the vid but I'm guessing it's the one where he called him out for being a grown man wearing a bowtie?
that's part of it yeah, but i like the part where hes like you're hurting America.
His latest interview with oreilly was good too
any vid of this^? would love to see
Perm summarized it really well, it was pretty amicable all around.
lol i love that middle video with the chick analysing the interview, haha![]()
There was another one where O'Reily kept claiming that Stewart's audience was a bunch of lazy stoners and it seemed like Stewart was just like, "lol u mad bro?"
I think that was one of these actually, and yeah, lol. Stewart totally owns any arena he goes into, he really does. That sort of presence is awesome.
I'd totally hit it.

Link to the whole video, unedited, and without the fox news nonsense on the screen.
You know it's really interesting for me, I occasionally flip over to CNBC and CNN and they're so LOUD and ALARMING compared with Australian/BBC news. It's like it's a major drama event all the time, with flashing colours and driving music and man, I dunno how you guys deal with that, you must have permanent high blood pressure if you watch that news. And that isn't even Fox -- most of which I've seen as clips from The Daily Show, which probably makes it look worse than it is but I'm sure it's not really far off XD
Yeah, BBC and the Australian ABC (modelled after the BBC style really) are really great compared with the American news; American news seems to really over-amplify things -- I was reading some article a long time ago that it's the style of the news that really helps to perpetuate the sense of fear that tunnels through America, and which keeps you lot nice malleable putty for your government (Bush gov't at the time of the article) to press things on you that you don't really want (harsher security, anti-terrorism laws, wars in Iraq etc.).
So yeah good luck 'n' all that.
lol'd hard for 15 minutes straight
