BG Spam Medical: My wife is sick

She woke up early Sunday morning with terrible aches and pains. Later in the day she couldn't get out of bed because she was so tired. She's got the chills, and has a fever of 101.6. She doesn't have any intestinal issues, although she feels a bit nauseated. So far no congestion or cold-like symptoms, just the aches, pains, chills and fever. She got both the regular and swine flu vaccinations in the fall. She has not yet started walking backwards.

I've asked her to call a doctor and make an appointment, or at least get their opinion about what to watch for. But she won't call them so we're not sure what to do.

So BG Spam Medical, I come to you for advice:

Is it okay to beat the shit out of her and force her to go to the fucking doctor?
