I was wondering if the version of FF4 on PSN is the same as the one they released as a pack for PS1. As I found the PS1 version to be harder (As rumoured to be the JP version) than the original SNES version. Anyone played through and can tell me?

All FF games on PSN are ports of the PS1 versions.
If I'm not mistaken there is no PSN Final Fantasy 4 for the PS3 so I'm assuming this post is regarding the PSP version(The complete collection I believe it's called). And I'm pretty sure the PSP version of Final Fantasy 4 comes with updated graphics, the after years included, and the GBA dungeon (not so sure about this).
edit: to be clear the updated graphics are not the DS version just updated version of the sprites, just google Final Fantasy 4 Complete collection and go to images you can also research what else it adds in it as well.
So to be short no it is NOT the PS1 port, but prepared to have a PSP to run it
What I'm wondering about is where is Final fantasy VI for PS3 PSN <_< Wiki says it came out June 30th but I did not see it last time I went there
basically: Sony isn't going to have a Nintendo game on the PSN.
( p.s. just get it for the ipad :3 )
Well I don't check PS1 titles on PSN that often so I assumed the TC was talking about that. I know it's out somewhere and the difference between FF4 and FF4CC is quite obvious just by reading the description.
FFVI has been on the EU PSN for a few weeks now, i'd assume NA is due
