Searched and didn't find anything on this. Found out about it thanks to the Random Image Thread and decided to watch the first episode. I enjoyed the first episode it seems like it is going to be a really interesting show and it's short too, at only 16 episodes. Anyone else watching this or already watched it that can vouch for it?

Eden of the East was probably the best ANime of Spring season.

If you like Drama/suspense you will love it, i suggest you keep watching it

Yeah. You probably wouldn't find it's own topic as it was kept track of in the Anime thread which is cluttered anyway.

Anyway, it's actually only 11 episodes, not 16. At the end of the series, you find out that there will be two movies in production as well that will finish it all off. I've finished it and I must say; it's wortht he watch.

And yeah, it's Falling Down by Oasis.

I liked it, except the fact that it was so short. They could've easily stretched the season by interacting with different new players as only 7 or 8 of 12 were shown, could explore more of the history behind Mr Outside. I guess it came and went without bogging it down with an excess of fillers though. Looked expensive too lol.

I really liked show, yes it was a bit short, but I'm hoping the movies make up for it. I also really liked the art style, very Miyazaki-esque and different from a lot of the typical TV anime.

Downloading a batch of all 11 episodes after seeing the positive responses to it. Never really watched an anime like it, I prefer action and/or comedy of which I assume this has neither. Subbed by a group called 'gg', hope it's good subs.

I used GG as Eden of the east subber.

Pretty good subs imo

Eden as some comedy in it, DUDE the first scene the guy is naked what can you ask more!

Just finished episode 2 and I'm hooked. The ending scene with the IV guy doing the 'bang' was awesome. Really love the way they've set up the story, it's cool they've got the little love story but also an interesting plot for the main male character too.

Definitely marathoned the last 6 episodes.

What an amazingly well done anime. I hate that it was short but hopefully the movies add some to the story. I hope someone updates this thread when the movie comes.

Can we discuss the story/ending in this thread maybe? I really want to talk about it haha, especially since I am wondering about a few parts as I'm sure others are also.

I say go for it but spoiler it obviously since people are just picking it up and watching it because of this thread.

I'm on episode 6 and I can't think of the last anime that I watched that I enjoyed this much. I love how much it is like Death Note and then again how much it isn't like it.
