back a long time ago, when i first played with the settings and cranked it up, i was fighting some sea raider with a new character and like 45 seconds into the fight, i took a hatchet to the head that 1 hit KOed me

Wow everything starts set to Easiest, that is some bullshit. I will raise it bit by bit so I can adjust. I don't get hit much anyway since I am playing as an archer. But my friends are gonna suffer with this raised friendly fire damage.

and, yeah, my character last time I played was an archer and he raped all kinds of face

khergit lancers and veteran horse archers in your army are still kind of hax with the difficulty turned up
