    Updating SSD Firmwire & Diskimaging

    http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83708

A firmwire update has been available (I never noticed) for my SSD drive that will allow the support of TRIM... atm the only way to "self heal" the SSD is to cold boot the computer and let it idle for over an hr (but TRIM is better).

I only keep my OS on the C drive (and I think Nortons), everything else is on a separate HD... But is there a way to backup the computer so that I dont need to reinstall everything once this is done? Somebody mentioned Disk Imaging, but would this keep the registry intact & (after I reinstall windows 7), restore the computer to the way it was? Thanks!

Does Corsair not have a guide of sorts on upgrading firmware? I know OCZ does. If not, a post regarding upgrading that firmware may be better directed at corsairs forums, idk..

Oh, they explain it very well.. So I guess my main question is about disk imaging.. And does it backup the registry and stuff so I don't need to reinstall everything?
