Logitech g19 help plz!

This is my first logitech keyboard and having bit of a trouble setting it up. I understand I need a program to bind the keys to windower but cant find it. Also, anyone know where and how could I add apps to the lcd?

Use the key profiler to assign what you want to each bind.

For instance, if you wanted to put a gear swap macro into a G key, just //exec _.txt ; or whatever it might be. You don't even have to connect to windower really.

What kind of macro were you trying to make off them?

wanted to make some equipment macros and maybe spell macros, tried /equip feet "Herald's Gaiters" doesnt seem to be working

If the g19 interacts with FFXI the same way my old g15 did, you might have to add an enter at the end of every line you want to do. Without that mine used to input it as text, and when I added enter at the end of the macros.

But the thing is though, if you're using windower you need to set up a spellcast. Executing a whole spellcast file is much easier than setting up each individual macro with your whole equipment list.

make sure you have it entering the code into ffxi, and you aren't set on default setting which turns off when you enter game.

It's not necessary to setup SpellCast, if hes just trying to put movement speed%+ gear on, then he can just use an input macro just as easy.

You dont need to download a certain application for it to bind. Its referring to the profile being bound to a certain application you are running (ffxi). Once the keyboard knows what program you are trying to send the commands to, then set your keys to the commands you want. Everyone is different and uses a different method and their are plenty of ways to go about it. Just use the one which is best for you. I personally still prefer my g15 with the 18 keys and have them as my normal macros on the first tab (m1). I do have a few scripts on the second tab (m2) for situational stuff. m3 is all for outside ffxi commands I use frequently.

your welcome. But be warned, Logitech seems to change little tiny bits with each keyboard that can render the plugin useless. So I don't know if it currently us compatible with the G19 yet.

It's worth a try, the macro/bind keys should be the same. But, like you said, Logitech likes to overcomplicate basic upgrades.

Seconding G15binder, if it works with the G19. Then you can just assign macros to "alias m1g1" or whatever through normal scripts or spellcast or wtfever kids are using these days.
