I love me some movies about the 80s! I will be definitely be seeing this one, not sure if anyone else has seen a trailer for it. Looks pretty good and I thought I would share.

Not a Topher fan, but I'm adding that to my list.
everything 80's was awesome
Wanna see this just because its named after an Eddie Money song.
oh god this will be a fucking 10/10
even if this movies sucks the soundtrack will rock which will make it awesome
that movie put relish on my hot dog.
Total necro, but wondering if anyone actually went to see this yet and what they thought of it. Been itching to go to the movies so we are this weekend, trying to decide which to go to.
Btw, I don't expect this to be an amazing film, but I do expect it to have an awesome soundtrack=nostalgia bombing.
I wanted too but after seeing RT reviews i'll wait for a cam version or DVDrip
It's about as good as the 80's movies that it was playing homage to. If you enjoyed those movies then you'll enjoy this movie. I didn't really have any rofl moments but I chuckled a few times. And the movie had some heart to it.
Expect a few anachonisms though. You would think the movie makers could have at least wiki'ed the release dates of songs they were using, but I guess not. The film is set in 1988 but the height of the 80s was 1984. The year 1988 was when everyone was losing their 80's buzz. However, most of the oversights were forgivable...
...all but one of them...
How the fuck do you have an 80's movie called "Take Me Home Tonight" and not have the song in the G.D. movie???
Not in the opening credits, not in any of the musical montages, and not in the closing credits. Nothing.
the soundtrack is amazing, the story's been done to death though. it's the same hardly wait, american pie shit. one last night to make it right
