There are some portions where you pull out a gun(usually when the enemies have them) and the games handles it very well.

they made a sidescrolling avengers beat-em-up that was pretty fucking sweet. You could play as Captain America, Vision, Hawkeye, or Iron Man. And when you died it'd say "AMERICA STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP"

Hell yeah, 4 player at the arcades... damn.
Another good one was X-Men.

It didn't stand up to The Punisher or The Simpsons but it was right on the level with those Ninja Turtles games, maybe a lil better.

another good arcade game i liked was final fight lol. ninja turtles was ok, but that shit would be beaten in about 15-20 min every b-day pty i went to lol. everyone knew all the little tidbits/tricks to that game. the simpsons was more original at least and was a challenge

Nightcrawler all the way for me, and yeah... I liked Final Fight but I don't think the series got truly fun until Final Fight 3.
The other ones weren't bad, don't get me wrong.

Final Fight was definitely nice to play when it first came out though, can't deny. But, so much better stuff came along in a short period of time.
FF3 with those Street Fighter styled inputs for specials was tight to me.

Final Fight 2 was sort of meh to me, but I liked 1 and 3 a lot.

Simpsons arcade was also the shit. I played it online w/ kaillera a few months back, which would be something I'd be interested in doing again.
