Need help comparing two vid cards for price/performance

I'm looking at replacing my current video card since it falls pretty short of the FFXIV requirements, and I'm looking to do this without going too much above $100. So far I've found two cards that cost $55 and $105 and have 1gb of vram. Their specs are:

    SPARKLE SFPX95GT1024U2H GeForce 9500 GT - $55

    HDCP Ready Yes

    PNY XLR8 VCG98GTEE1XEB GeForce 9800 GT - $105
    Spoiler: show

    Interface PCI Express 2.0 x16
    Chipset
    Chipset Manufacturer NVIDIA
    GPU GeForce 9800 GT
    Core Clock 550MHz
    Shader Clock 1375MHz
    Stream Processors 112
    Memory
    Effective Memory Clock 1800MHz
    Memory Size 1GB
    Memory Interface 256-bit
    Memory Type GDDR3
    3D API
    DirectX DirectX 10
    Ports
HDMI 1 x HDMI (via Adapter)
    DVI 2 x DVI
    General
    RAMDAC 400 MHz
    Max Resolution 2560 x 1600
    SLI Support SLI Ready

Both cards are rated well but I'm not sure how much of a performance difference there is between the two of them and if the difference is worth 50 extra dollars. If anyone is able to help me on this I'd be greatly appreciative.

Eh, don't even consider 9500 GT...

9800 GT is fine but not great (anymore) by any mean, I'd throw another $60 and get a 5770 or a GTX260 at least if I were you.

A radeon 4850 would be the best choice in that price range tbh.

Can look at the Tom's best graphics cards for the money articles like this one for last month.

...my 4850 is still chugging along, and is $100 on Newegg...but I'm not sure how it handles FFXIV. Good general card still though.
