I'm sure it really IS just mainetenance, just cant help lol about the timing. 10 days after the 1st AV kill? Aweful close to how long they took to nerf kc zerg.

They must have ordered more servers for 14 and need to move the FFXI servers from the basement to another warehouse that is broken down and structurally weakened and could collapse at any time.

They would most likely explain the patch they are applying, esp if it directly has to do with AV (I.E. DRK KClub Zerg nerf, Modas Vertias/Helix nerf).

Anyways I will maintain that the current way you guys and others are zerging in conjunction with Perfect Defense is a legit method. Otherwise I expect a nerf on KV, Bahamut v2, Dynamis Lord, all Animated Weapons and Kirin as well. Oh and Einherjar T1~3 lol.

What other use does Perfect Defense have? It's not like most SMN remember to use it anyways in "oh shit" situations. (/joke)

The only thing I ever saw them mention of drk nerf was after the patch has been applied. Same for modus veritas iirc. AV has always been a big reciever of ninja patches.

Except they are not the same. It's possible to beat KV, Bv2 and Kirin using conventional method (DL included at least in theory), melee zerg simply speeds up the process. Zerging AV manipulates program AI thus allows players to bypass damage reduction at low HP.
