Ocarina of Time Glitch?

Does anyone have a youtube link to the speed run to beat the game in ocarina of time as young link? I saw it one time and immediately after the deku tree, the person flew passed the bridge to garudo (sp?) village with a chicken and memorized the path through the sand desert.

edit: I'm not too sure if it was really a video beating it but I believe it was one to be able to skip most of the temples to beat it. ( I didn't watch it all the way through at the time)

Running backwards and side-jumps are faster than normal running/rolling.

You should watch the Super Mario 64 speed runs lol. I think there's one where the guy beats it in 3 minutes or so.

Rope match were awesome, I played that shit for months when I got the game. The video is impressive, but it's not that hard to do (it's still amazing to do a maze this size flawlessly, but the jump are still not that hard to do).

The only rope races I could never do are the ones with those stupid walls on the edge of the map that you have to fling your self up from a corner underneath and hope to get enough height to latch onto something above since your rope just shoots out towards the ocean instead of the wall due to your orientation. Fuck up once and say goodbye to your worm.


Tower races (rope races on maps 20,000-40,000 pixels tall) can be fun as shit though.

Tool assisted runs can be fun to watch sometimes but I prefer speed runs that aren't so perfect, real speedruns done without any tools, seeing everything done with robot-like precision due to the person slowing the game down and/or using save states just gets boring to me after a bit. I like stuff like this.

That game was so awesome, I can remember the first time I walked into the Deku tree I thought, this is the coolest dungeon I've ever seen in a video game. The music, graphic design, camera angles, really was revolutionary at the time.

1) Ganondorf was altered to cough up green blood instead of red.

2) The Islamic-ish chant was removed from the Fire Temple's music.

3) The moon/star symbol on movable blocks and the Mirror Shield was changed.

There may be some other tiny things, but that's all I recall.

IIRC my old copy of the game had the Moon/Star, only the final N64 version and Gamecube ports changed it. However the first 2 were changed pretty early during OOT's life.

I played worms for many years, from worms 2, to worms armageddon, and I still play now and then. Those RR vids arent real btw, but I think yall know that

Oh, and they altered that NPC that collect's Poes' dialog. I think they removed that little part about being hungry for some fried eyeballs... and replaced it with something a little less gruesome.
