Idk, I kinda like it.
Idk, I kinda like it.
That seems a little odd to me, looks weird. I've also never heard anyone I personally know complain about the 360 controller, so meh, not sure where the "We've heard from the community that you're not big fans of the D-pad" part comes from.
d-pad is by far the biggest complaint about it
why didnt they keep the face button colors?
Color blindness is more common than you'd think?
Only reason I can think of.
I was kinda expecting Microsoft to do something like this to pack in with the 360-S, rather than stand-alone months down the road.
Hope it does actually give a more responsive d-pad other than just changing its feel, as it was fucking horrible for precision-input games. On my pad, hitting right requires extra pressure to acknowledge, where-as on my bro's it is up.
Great, I just got a slim. Excellent timing Microsoft!
The D-pad is indeed fucking terrible, might be worth it for arcade titles if it's improved enough.
Every 360 controller I've got hasn't been too bad for the d-pad, one of my brothers controllers is awful at hitting left and right though. I guess I just got lucky. This is kind of a cool improvement but the price is fucking retarded. Instead of fixing the issue they're just capitalizing on it, kind of skanky.
Ugh. I should have known better than to try and read the comments on that article.
I actually liked the colored buttons, especially compared to the new grayscale look. I only hope this new turn dial d pad doesnt break easily. My biggest gripe was the angle the d pad is in which makes it so awkward to use, not the actual pad itself.
It's as dull and gray as the shooters that saturate its game library!
70$ jesus christ
I have four times as many 360 games as PS3 games bro
I was under the impression that anyone serious about fighters bought a fight-stick anyway?
Why don't they just switch the d-pad back to where it was when they directly copied the dualshock? Legal issues? Thumbs in different positions = urgh..
They never copied the dualshock. Stick placement was always that way.

I... don't think I get it, what does turning the d-pad around do? I couldn't tell a difference, but he kept pointing, pulling it back, pointing, so I was just like, uh, idk
