Cancellation question

So, my girlfriend has an account that is linked to one of my friends accounts. She doesn't want to be linked to him, and wants to be linked to me instead, which I told her she would have to buy another copy of WoW to make that work. But, if she cancels her account can she make a new account on the same CD of the game she already has? I don't want to go buy another copy of WoW again but if she can cancel and remake that would be perfect.

When you say linked, what are you referring to? RAF?

Whose name is on the battle.net account that the WoW accounts are linked to? (Assuming you have 2 WoW accounts, linked to one battle.net account)

Why I ask, is because my brother had 2 accounts linked onto one of his battle.net accounts. I started playing the game on his secondary account, and wanted to add it to my own battle.net account to add a authenticator to it. So I called up blizzard, and the rep said I could only link the account to another battle.net account that had the same name as the owner. So I made a new account under my brothers name, but the rest of the info was mine and they transfered the wow account for me.

Yeah I was referring to RAF, but it doesn't matter, she trashed her other account (Only had a 32 mage) and we got her the battlechest (She just got into wow and only had the original)
