horribly written or not, whomever wrote this sure seems to be at least TRYING to sound like he has his ear to the ground and understands the community. i'm sure i'm being grossly overly optimistic, but i'm at least going to hope that this is an indication that the new management team for XI is going to make a little more effort to connect with our community other than heavyhanded reactions to PW news stories and stern letters when certain SE documents leak out. have one person on their steering committee read this site for 30 minutes a day and it would go so much further toward improving this game than 70% of the things they've done in the past several years. SE is so woefully out of touch, i'd like to believe, no matter how irrationally, that there's some chance of it getting better.
