MP3 Player with FM Tuner

My Mom is looking for an iPod with an FM tuner and I really don't know where to start aside from external devices that you just tack onto an existing MP3 player, but she wants one that's already built into the MP3 player. I don't know much of anything about MP3 players outside of the Zune/iPod families. If anyone has any recommendations or has heard anything about 'off-brand' MP3 players let me know!

Well, since you know about Zunes, you would know they have an FM tuner. Get a Zune? Perhaps I'm missing something here.

The Sansa Fuze+ and Clip+ both have FM tuners built in to them. I think some of the Sony MP3 players do as well but I've seen quite a few of them just crap out for no reason. Both Sansa players come with a micro SD slot to expand memory as well which I always thought was a nice feature

I have the Sansa Clip+ and it is pretty rad. It is tiny, and has drag + drop for moving files over. The only thing weird is that when you are listening to the radio, the volume doesn't go down past a certain point, it just stays at its own min. level for the last 15% or so of the volume meter and then shuts off. This is probably not a problem for most people other than me, who like to listen to their music loud anyway.

yeah, but i was just looking for extra suggestions, as much as i like the zune the program that comes with it for loading music (as beautiful as it is) wasn't super easy to use, my mother isn't retarded when it comes to technology but it's not always super easy to explain things either.

It's not too hard, just really need to explain that her music is under "collection" then to drag and drop to the zune icon in the lower left.

I'm selling a Zune HD 32gb. I think it has HD radio on it. I'd keep it but it's not compatible with my car's USB port. Old iPhone ftl

afaik, ipods are the only mp3 players that you can't simply drag-and-drop music onto, which is about a 2nd-grade computer skill

I own a non-HD Zune and a Sansa Clip. Both have FM tuners. for simplicty sake I would go with the Sansa Clip. drag and drop as others said. I have a older model about 4 yrs old. I don't know if it still holds but the Sansa I have doesn't allow to to replace the battery, only drawback.
