Windows 7 64bits KB976902

Hi, today when i went to check my updates i saw this one KB976902 who says "This update is used to allow future updates for Win2k8 R2 and Win7 this update cannot be uninstalled"

I did some research and about 75% of people think this might be a prereq for the future SP1 for W7

My question is

Anyone here with a cracked Windows 7 install that update?

If yes, is your W7 still activated?

Until we get assured info I will not install this update but just wanted some info

I would check around on forums that you downloaded your cracked version of Windows 7 from. Unless you used RemoveWAT with just a standard version of 7, you shouldn't have anything to worry about just yet.

I'm using win7 with the Daz loader to crack it from mydigitallife forums, and had no issues after installing this update

I thought this update caused some problems as I wasn't able to install the updates that followed despite being done at the same time, but after a restart updates proceeded fine and my copy still declares being genuine. Also using Daz loader.

Been some talk of this over at OCN. Should be zero problems with hacked windows 7 installs.
