And the dentist told me they didn't mess anything up, it's just the structure of my jaw that's causing me pain when I bite down. But it never hurt before I had my wisdom teeth removed and three fillings done. I think maybe it could be my gums hurting so bad from the extractions that it only feels like tooth pain when it isn't really? Is this bitch bullshitting me? If they didn't mess anything up, and I'm stuck with this forever, this is going to suck so bad.

I had mine out this past fall. While it can depend on the person/etc, it's something that usually takes a fair bit of time to fully recover from. I had a sore tooth or three as well, but that went away after not too long. Also had sinus fluid drain a few times (yay for bright yellow liquids dumping out of your nose), and a couple bone/tooth/whatever shards get pushed through my gums. All somewhat common, AFAIK.

I went through exactly what you are going through several years ago. It won't last forever so don't worry. The first year and a half the pain will be excruciating and then over the next 3 years the pain will diminish a bit until it steadies off at a 6/10 on the pain scale.
