Removing the Windows Taskbar in WIN7

I want to entirely remove it and I can't seem to find out how or if that's even possible, all I know how to do is make it "auto-hide" but that's not really what I want because there's no real convenient place on the screen where it won't pop up at some point or another.

Is there anyway to just entirely remove it that I can't seem to find?

Win7 64bit if that makes a difference.

From a quick google search it seems that the only way is to use the program Taskbar Eliminator.

Also from a different search:

You can remove the start orb if you set the taskbar to autohide BEFORE activating Taskbar Eliminator. However, the start menu will be accessible via the Windows key

Get another monitor and drag it over there.
