    Replacing Ipod touch Screen

Well a couple months ago My ipod got wet and hasn't worked since, I plugged it in recently and found out it does work but the screen doesn't turn on so I am assuming the screen is damaged, anyone had experience with changing a ipod touch 3rd gen screen?

I took to the apple store and they told me water damage is a automatic replacement and cost 200 bucks, but at that time I told them it wouldn't turn on (Didn't know the battery was completely tapped but who could with no working screen?)

    Aleast I think it's 3rd gen

If you're willing to pay money to fix it, there's other reputable companies/websites you can send your iPod to for replacements.

As for you doing it yourself ; http://www.ifixit.com/
