This recruitment topic is to help my friend out with some announcements regarding his new linkshell on Unicorn, sense he dosen't have an BG account I'd offered to help him out, so i hope this is allright with the admins aswell, if not let me know please, don't want any hassel for posting this!

Welcome to Skylines Linkshell. We are a brand new linkshell who has our resident on Unicorn Server. Skylines events take place in the GMT timezone, but everyone is welcome to apply for our shell if our times/days suites you perfect as a player.

Skyllines are hosting a mix of GMT & NA players atm, but we are trying to reach out to more GMT players, because Unicorn Server seems to lack just that GMT playing FFXI players, who would be interested in doing some fun, older events again.
Skylines are looking for players who would concider to transfer here to us on Unicorn Server, because they love to do these older FFXI events, or that you might still be missing out on some Homam/Nashira gear, ABC coins, Sky, Dynamis gear that you wanted to get hold of for a while, now is your chanse, Skylines LS is on recruitment status. Mabey there are other reasons to why just you would be looking for a new GMT shell to call home, and who do just these events you might like and take fun & joy into, mabey your own sever is lacking on GMT shell these days that you yourself have been looking for awhile but never found, then please, atleast take a look on our site, read our rules, goals and then decide for yourself if worth moving for or not.

As mentioned erlier is Skylines a new shell to Unicorn, we started roughly 2.5 weeks ago, and so far we have been doing some Apollyon zones on Lowman status. And we have accomplished so far 3 cleared apollyon runs and all with successfull winnings!

What typ of events do Skylines offer to our members? Well we have 3 different tings we do, Limbus, Sky & Dynamis, and these events is scheduled only 1x event per week because our members also have a life outside FFXI, belive it or not it's true!

What Skylines LS looking for then? We are looking for basic all jobs, however we have some jobs we like to get wich has a higher prior atm so we can get an more compleated members roster. The following jobs we are seeking on high priority are as following, Bard, Paladin, Red Mage, Black Mage, White Mage. We are looking for players who enjoy playing anyone of these jobs and take there jobs serious when playing. By all means Skylines LS are far from a hardcore shell, but the truth is when having lower numbers on members we all depening on each other to secure best possible results to succsessfull winnings. But also players who remembers on how to having fun and spas when ingame allways helps alot.

We are looking for dedicated players who can attend on Skylines all 3 events during the week so we can fill our roster in all events, just not only Limbus or Sky etc.. I will not talk so much about rules here this you can read onto our site under the rules.
(Of course if any questions you might have, feel free to PM me and I will pass the info on to LS holder Tessy). And please only make an application i you are 100% certain that you have interest to join our LS. And if you are a hardcore player, then I'm sorry our LS woulden't be any good for you guys & girls!


Now to the fun part, Skylines event times & days:


Wedensday: Sky
Gathering time: GMT 6.30pm & EST 1.30pm
Event Start Time: GMT 7.00pm & EST 2.00pm

Saturday: Limbus
Gathering time: GMT 6.30pm & EST 1.30pm
Event Start Time: GMT 7.00pm & EST 2.00pm

Sunday: Dynamis (Notice Dynamis have different times from the other events)
Gathering time: GMT 4.30pm & EST 11.30am
Event Start Time: GMT 5.00 pm & EST 12.00 pm (Noon Midday)

* Skylines LS also have its own DKP attached to the site, this DKP we use for keep track on our members attendance true out the weeks/months. You can see Skylines DKP here how it looks, nothing fancy just very simple.

* I did forget to mention that we also conduct monthly LS_Payouts for our members, this we do from the currency we earn from our Dynamis events, all that is aducted is the Dynamis entery fee 500k, the rest is equal shared amongst our members based on attendance. But u can read more about this in the rule section.

I'll just put this politely, really, before the trolls beat me to it. BG isn't the place to be advertising a shell for events like Sky or Limbus. The content is old, and the vast majority of people who frequent this site are more than likely going to lay into you for not doing current content over stuff people should have finished years ago. I'd imagine your posts on FFXIAH are going to get a lot more positive and realistic input.

Since you guys go to Dynamis on Sunday, it might also be worth knowing that DieNamis runs Dynamis events around those times, also. In that regard, it might be worth talking to myself, Frehha or Usagy in-game around gathering time to ensure we don't get any scheduling conflicts. We run on a voting basis, so we may well turn up at a zone out of the blue.

Same tings that Tessy's topic on FFXAH explaines to you in reply, will he keep in contact with you guys on Sundays when it comes to Dynamis zones to avoid conflicts with his and yours LS's. And huge thanks for the heads up on this subject

Regarding that BG isn't the place to be advertising a shell for events like Sky or Limbus I disagree There might be older events and alot of people who stop doing these kind of events a long time ago as you say, very true, however I personal love doing this old events, and BG for me/us is an awsome place to post this type of announcments, because there are alot of Final Fantasy XI players who read on the forums everyday same as on FFXIAH.

So if there is should be someone who still love to do such events as Limbus, Sky, and mabey missing some Limbus, Sky gear they been unable to obtain in old days, could read my/our announcment, and if interested enough for doing such runs 1 x per week could team up with our shell on Unicorn. I simply mean that alot of players are so into Abyssea atm ,and hardly do anything else because they might be tired of older event types, I/we respect that by all means.

I have nothing against trolling, as long the toll post have some realistic input into it, wich also gives me a chanse to reply them. But trolling post like, /failure LOOL well them I dislike.

Again Crysten thank you for posting this and making me/us aware of the situations on Unicorn server, We will be sure to keep you update on what Dynamis zones we will do on Sundays. And thanks for the best wishes for our LS.

Hi All,

Tought I'd bump the tread again, Skylines LS on Unicorn is still looking for 6-8 members more to compleat our roster.

We are currently looking for players who have following jobs • Minimum of 2 Lv.80 - 90 Jobs. PLD, DRK, MNK, BLU, THF, WAR, Others -(Preferrably 1 of Mage Class! i.e BRD, BLM, WHM, RDM, SCH, SMN)
• Able to attend all x3 events, Limbus, Dynamis, Sky per week to ensure LS event success!

We are looking for a THF's who knows how to fish inside all of Dynamis Zones, and also a PLD who been main tanking and know the stuff within resonable borders!
Skylines have done 5 events so far sens the LS was formed, and we have done thing in both Limbus and Sky with success, and doing our first dynamis run Sunday 27/2/11

A new bump now when FFXI servers are back up again

Skylines are still looking for some extra players who mainly have BRD, PLD, BLM, WHM or RDM to use. Skylines host atm 9 fulltime members, and we are seeking 3-5 players more to fill the last spots in our roster as a lowman shell.

Still looking for a few good players. But I have a request, don't send me tells that you are interested in our lowman LS, and want to join, get pearled, and then just skip events for what good?, not helping our LS sucess thats for sure. Our LS is very sucessful, we have all wins so far, both in sky and when it comes down to Limbus zones. Reason why seeking more people is to ensure that we atleast have 6 members online for each event.

So if you should be interested, please take a look on our website and read up on our rules, if you like it, then send us our application.

And just for heads up and extra information, Skylines LS run on GMT times, but during summertime due to some members work and family life we will be running GMT+1. Atm we are doing 2 events per week, Wedensday SKY, and Saturdays we do Limbus, and we just started our Ultima path.

We are seeking PLD tanks, brds, blms, healer, DD, any of the mentioned jobs, if you have a wide range of jobs the better when doing lowman tings. We are far from hardcore players, our goal is to obtain gear, ABC coins for upgrade + AF items, and most importent of all have fun doing it.

As most of you are aware will SE conduct an server merge at some point, and for us Unicorn players we will be deported to fenrir server When this is over Skylines will re-consider to take up the Dynamis section again, if there are any GMT players out there who would like to join an lowman group. We are looking to host 12-14 members total and we run atm on pure attendance scheme. Sense we now are closing in on the server merge, and get all the fun to team up with some new players on Fenrir. Looking forward to meet you all. So because of that and that we made/added some new content, I think it is time foe a new bump.....

• Skylines are looking for fresh blood, so anyone who wants to join an LS who knows how to have some fun, and abel to help others and yourself of course. To obtain tings that you might need or lack from older content, then Skylines gives you a chanse, if you are a player who is dedicated to the tings you get yourself into. Skylines runs atm on pure attendance true our DKP. And we run on GMT times.
  
  
• We are a newer shell, we have been around for 3 whole months + so far, we are by none means any hardcore shell, if you looking for that we ain't the shell for you. We are a very relaxed shell who like helping each other out, and so far we had above averege on succsess and wins.
