    Gaming with dual monitors

I recently purchased an additional monitor wich is pretty fun. Except for 1 thing, when I play Starcraft 2 (wich is in fullscreen windowed setting) I can't go to the left or my mouse just goes over to my 2nd monitor. Any techies know how I could keep SC2 windowed so I can alt tab easily between matches and stuff but keep it locked on the 1st monitor while not alt tabbed?

There's a couple more settings in the controls menu if you already have it to fullscreen windowed: mouse scroll enabled(you want this checked) and confine mouse cursor(automatic or on).

Supreme Commander is probably the only game that does. Main reason to not game with dual-monitors is that typically your center field of vision in the game is the dead space between the two monitors. You need a third one for that 'center' area if you want to game fullscreen on multiple displays.

it depends how the game displays it's content, RTS games don't really have that center FOV because you can choose what you want your second monitor to do (in the case of SupCom, you can leave it focused on any particular part of the game map, and have it zoomed in/out at whatever level you want

but yes, you can't play most games (probably 95% or more) with just 2 screens due to there being a solid black bar in the center

and to shamelessly plug my setup:

As I said before, my main monitor is 24', and SC2 is just like FPS in term of reaction time. I actually have much, much higher reaction time on SC2 than I does in MW2 for exemple. So covering 2 monitors just so I can add an inch to my internet penis is out of the question.

Anywho, problem in OP is solved. Thank you guys.

It's so small it's actually a vagina. (Not taking shot at you, please remove whatever you inserted in your rectum).

For future reference for anyone else with this trouble, in the settings for SC2 you can select from Full Screen, Windowed, and Windowed (Full Screen), with the last option probably the best one to choose to alt/tab easily
