New computer: Worked last night, nothing today

    Halp

I just built a new computer for my parents, everything went perfect last night. Turned it on, started to install windows, but I realized I was using the old windows 7 beta cd, so I stopped it, and shut the computer off.

Today, after grabbing a newer version of win7, I go to turn the computer on, and it... doesn't turn on. At all. Tried different power cables, tried from different plugs, hitting the power button doesn't do anything at all. No lights on the mobo turn on or anything. Did something happen to the PSU overnight? Or the mobo? wtf

For reference, it was a newegg combo of:

+dvd and hdd shouldn't matter (Yeah, it's not the best, it's just a cheap decent computer to replace their old piece of shit)

    More info:

PSU is set to 115 on the red switch on the outside (PSUs aren't really my thing)
Power/reset switch and power/hdd leds are connected to the right spot, ala the mobo manual.
The large pin (20 or 24, w/e) is connected to the mobo, as is the small 4pin one. This is my 3rd build, so I'm pretty sure I got everything right, and it DID work last night...

    Ty

edit: more obvious q's: Tried multiple power cables, tried multiple plugs. Same cables and plugs also worked on the old computer.

you probably have a short somewhere, as annoying as it is, rip it out of the case and fire it up outside, if it works, a short, if it doesnt work, tear it apart further, all but 1 stick of ram and the video card, then add components until it stops

make sure the power switch on the back of the pc is on as well

    Just tried this, no go.

Also tried http://www.ochardware.com/articles/p...dwiresmall.jpg doing that test, PSU was running.

I guess the mobo crapped out? Gonna send it back to newegg tomorrow probably.
