http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_nZlYZR1tIThe movie centers on Timmy Turner (portrayed by Drake Bell), but unlike the series, Timmy is no longer a 10-year-old boy — he is 23, still lives at home, and still attends the 5th grade. Timmy's arrested development stems from his desire to keep his beloved fairy godparents, Cosmo (Daran Norris as his animated form and Jason Alexander as his live-action form) and Wanda (Susanne Blakeslee as her animated form and Cheryl Hines as her live-action form), because "Da Rules" dictates that godchildren lose their fairies when they grow up. But when Tootie (Daniella Monet), a formerly nerdy girl who's always had a crush on Timmy, returns to town as a gorgeous grown-up, Timmy finds himself having very adult feelings for her. He must decide whether to grow up and be with the woman he now loves, or continue acting like a child to keep the fairy godparents he adores. In the meantime, Hugh J. Magnate (Steven Weber), a larger-than-life oil tycoon, turns his attention to capturing Timmy’s fairies and using their power to fuel his maniacal ambition.

That's the point, in the description the show takes place when Timmy is an adult but acts like a kid to keep his faeries.

I don't think I've ever raged that hard at reading a paragraph detailing a movie plot. That's just downright terrible and I don't know how they think this will be popular at all.

We were never allowed to have nice things. Take note of the up and coming Smurfs Movie. Everything that was once a smooth line is now textured, bumpy and hairy. In 3d high def. Yogi is even fucking worse. Originally Posted by Eanae

It's like they didn't even try to make this good. Jason Alexander... really? What has he been in that was good since Seinfeld (or I guess Curb, which is also weird because Cheryl Hines was in that too)?

Why fucking Christ, why? I assume live action Hey Arnold! and Rocko's Modern Life will soon follow to even further ruin my childhood memories. Why couldn't they at the very least have a fucking kid? Kodi Smit-McPhee would have been my first (and obvious to me) choice for that. I even think his voice sounds a bit like Timmy.
