Got a Brothers Grimm type vibe, but luckily I liked that cheesy movie so I will most likely enjoy this too. Gemma is pure sex also so that helps.

Seems amusing enough. If it doesn't take itself too seriously (which it doesn't seem to) it could be a fun little adventure like Van Helsing.

Noticed yesterday that it was already out. Just saw the trailer last weekend... Has the Renier guy in it that was in 2-3 blockbusters last summer. He's good, but so was Jackman when he did Hellsing, and that movie wasn't great, this looks just like it.

Yeah, I was expecting it to be on a Van Helsing level, too... And was pleasantly surprised.

When I checked RT yesterday after the movie, it said 74% of people liked it, but the score was something like 13%, it made no sense!

I told a guy at work that I'd buy him a beer if he didn't like it.

Edit: Looking into it, the 13% score on RT is the average of official critics, but they don't seem to ever like fun, violent movies so I don't bother with their assessments.

I never see a movie on critics reviews lol. Even on RT I look at the viewers scores

RT reviewers are bunch of pretentious cunts and always judge a movie as it needs to be Godfather or some other 12 oscar winning title. This movie was fun. Yeah the plot may not been all that but I dont care. Hell I even liked Van Helsing. I appreciate the cheesiness.
