Warhammer 40000: Space Marine

I Done a search and couldn't find this game mensioned, so sorry if it has been. Hopefully I'm not the only one excited by this though, found most Warhammer games to be really good and the idea of playing a Space Marine (Outside of Chaos Gate and Squad Command) is just super!

Yea yea, Rites of War, Fire Warrior, Dawn of War, Dawn of War 2 and Space Hulk you can also use Marines but still.

I picked it up for $10 and it was pretty fun. Unfortunately, the co-op is local only (I have no idea what they were thinking when they did this) which sorta sucks, but oh well.

Anyone pick this up yet? I tried out the demo and its pretty sick. I don't know really anything about warhammer 40k world or anything, but the game is fun as hell from the tiny bit I played.

Interested to hear feedback from someone who's put some time in it.

The multiplayer is fun as hell, they need some more maps/game modes though.

How does the game play?

I'm a big fan of Relic's WH40k work but I tried out the demo and it felt a bit clunky which put me off a bit.

The default control scheme is a bit weird, but once you change it up to something you can use the game plays awesome.

It's very fun, non stop action from what I've played of it.

Think god of war with jump jets and space marine weapons & story.

edit: i dont think you can change the control scheme from inside a running game, I think it has to be done from the main menu.

just beat the single player, was fantastic and very enjoyable, looked pretty good too on my rig. there is nothing more enjoyable than the jump jets and hammer, it was pure murderous bliss and I couldnt put it down.

There's something therapeutic about slaughtering tons of orkz... definitely worth the $40 from the CAG deal.
