Is my laptop dying? Boots/runs fine, but continuous beeping during POST

Family's laptop, when turned on or rebooted, it just shows the ACER screen and then a continuous beep. I turned off the splash acreen on POST, this revealed 0 error messages. If the ACER screen is present, all it says is "Push F2 to enter setup"

Pushing F1 makes it continue normally.

Everything is intact. No missing RAM or anything.

It's been like this for a week.

Beep Sound Description: continuous, rapid, none stop until I push F1 and it continous like normal

Could be an issue with the battery. I'd try pulling that out and running it on the AC adapter only, see if it still does it. Some laptops will complain profusely when their battery can't be charged.

Thanks, I'll try to explain how to take the battery out to my sister, will post back here with results within 24 hours..

Re-seat the RAM. If it's still beeping, should be an issue with the motherboard.

Yep, not much else it could be on a laptop with all that integrated hardware
