    Need exercise to stabilize my feet

    Ok title seems strange so here goes.

    I'm trying to skate latly, and it goes well, but after maybe 30-45min of skating i feel like i have no force left in my feets and (hard to explain in english) but lets try google translate for that part)

    So what happens is that my feet tilt on the oposite direction so much that my the side of my skate almost touch the ice.

    So i'm looking for some exercise to have more force in my legs/feets to be able to skate longer.

    P.S before people ask yes i already hit it with a water bottle.

    Now that the joke is done hoping to get some good tips

    Your skates are too big and aren't tight enough. I wear size 9s and I'm an 11 foot. Being a goalie I need to be able to have my feet horizontal to the ground without worry of my ankle collapsing.

    I haven't skated/played hockey in forever and a day, but as someone else mentioned - it sounds like your skates are a bit big/loose. I wear a size 11 shoe, but go down to a 9-10 for skates (like the other person, too <.<) You really don't want loose skates because you'll easily roll your ankle and it is beyond painful.

    As for exercise that will help your stabilize/strengthen your feet while skating? Skate! (duh) If your muscles are getting that tired while skating then they are getting stronger while skating. I'm sure there are some exercises that others may know to help you, but really just skate, man. You'll naturally get to the point where your muscles are accustomed to the workout that you want of them.

    Make sure you hit your ankles with the water bottles to build a healthy fear of water bottles. Everything should fear water bottles.

    make sure the water bottles are frozen so your ankles will build a resistance to cold as well.

    Your skates are too loose you scrub, they need to be pure extensions of your feet, no bend or give what so ever. Tighten them up. Start with the laces all the way down by your toes and pull them tight and then the next X-crossing of the laces and so on and work your way up the skate over the top of your foot and then up the start of your shin.

    This just made me think of those retarded little kids you see trying to rollerblade around with their barely-tied skates bent at 70° angles, scraping the chassis/frames on the ground, not even using the wheels.
