FFXI on Android

Anyway to play FFXI on an andoid based system? I Have the quad core Transformer and it definitilely has the specs to play the game... I just don't think it is possible... any ideas?

Could you even fit it in? My old pol folder is almost 40 GB. Sorry I don't have a clue about these things really, just the first thing that came to mind is PoL is really big.

There's linux distributions that run on Android phones, you'd have to install that, then install wine on top of it and then FFXI, then you'll need a 64+GB SDcard for all of that probably.

Best way is to have it running on a PC then VNC in. I use teamviewer if I need to do something small like buy from AH or something. But playing normally is lame.

From the limited research I did into it, the problem with running it through Linux would be the x86 emulation on ARM devices... A 16GB card would probably be enough to host the files, my install is only 11GB with a significant number of duplicate files and DAT mods.

This is the only method right now to do so. And even with the most efficient wireless network, it wouldn't be bearable enough to play.
