Warranty, how much truth to tell in my report?

My warranty for my MSI ex625 (laptop) is about to expire in June. There are a few things wrong with it that I want to get fixed.

mainly, the C key and the G key no longer work. I had to remap my keyboard and use substitute keys for both of them.

I contacted them when I initially started having the problem with the C key, but at the time, it worked on and off, it wasn't permanent and they said if it was working when I sent it to them, they'd be able to do nothing about it.

Over time, the C key became completely disabled and after more time, the G key became disabled as well. (at this rate, maybe each key will go out one at a time until I have none left?)

I've had another issue that's been bothering me for a little over a year now. There's a small section of the screen in the bottom lefthand corner that is extremly bright. Looks like a bleached spot on a shirt. You can see stuff that's under it but it's rly bright and hard to see. I wanted to get that fixed as well.

That being said, about 6 months ago, I dropped this thing. There's some damage to the exterior and the CD drive is a little messed up, but I'm not asking for/expecting any of that to be fixed, since it is my fault.

The only thing I'm worried about is if I mention it in the report at all, they may blame the issues that occurred prior to the drop on the drop and if I don't mention it, they may just assume so when I send it to them.

That being said, what should I tell them in the report I will submit later today?

Never tell them you did any sort of physical damage to it. That voids 99% of non ADH warranties. Just reassure them it's their products fault, and if they want to continue doing business with you and want good recommendations from you to other customers, that they will need to fix this.

Odd that they'd fuss over a keyboard issue. Usually companies are happy to send you a new one. They tend to be very easy to swap, so if they're not wanting to send you a box/etc, you might see if they could send you a keyboard parts-only.

I wouldn't even know now to begin how to repair that on a laptop. Even if you take the key off and press the little gel knub, it still does nothing

Does the screen brightness thing only show up when the room is really dark? From the description it might be backlight bleed, but that generally isn't super bright or hard to see past.

It's definitely more noticeable when it's dark, but it is noticeable in light as well.

Sent the message I typed above with "I hope we can continue our good business together." thrown somewhere in there.

I got an RMA label with these under the symptom notes.

Keyboard keys don't work, the C key and G key. DVD drive is loose.

I would hope WK refers to my blur on the screen, because that's not mentioned at all @.@
