Namco Bandai will bring a new fighting game based on the Saint Seiya manga and anime series to PlayStation 3 later this year — just not in most of North America. Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers - Knights of the Zodiac is due this November in Japan, Europe, Mexico and Brazil.

Slated to appear in Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers are Andromeda Shun, Cygnus Hyoga, Dragon Shirya, Gemini Saga, Hades, Phoenix Ikki, Poseidon and, of course, Pegasus Seiya.

Like Namco Bandai's previous title based on the franchise, Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle, the PS3 game has not been officially announced for released in the United States or Canada.

Coming to NA in November

For a while it seemed as if Namco Bandai might skip over North America with Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, but that's no longer the case. The company confirmed today that the fighter will be coming to North America in November exclusively on PlayStation Network.

Developed by Dimps, Brave Soldiers features playable characters from the Sanctuary, Poseidon, and Hades story arcs. In addition to the one-on-one story mode battles, players can also jam Brave Soldiers online with versus and ranking modes.
